The server speaks MCP over HTTP at one URL. Your API key is the only thing that ties it to your account.
Make a key
In the ClonBot app, open Settings, then "Claude and your own tools", and make a new key. It is shown once, so copy it. MCP access comes with the Pro plan.

Claude acts as you, with the same costs and limits as the web app. A few things only happen in the app itself.
Claude can
- Make posts, each using one post from your plan.
- Fix and restore slides for free.
- Change autopilot, its times and its queue.
- Approve and schedule posts when you ask it to.
Stays with you
- Connecting TikTok happens in the web app.
- Your plan and billing aren't reachable from MCP.
- Review: with approval on (the default), autopilot's posts wait for you. Tell Claude to stop at review if you want the last look.
- Keys show when they were last used and can be revoked any time.
Questions about the TikTok MCP.
Is there an MCP server for TikTok?
There are several. TikTok has an official MCP server for its ads platform, community servers read TikTok video data, and ClonBot's MCP server makes organic photo slideshows for apps. They do different jobs and can run side by side.
Does TikTok have an API?
Yes. TikTok has developer APIs for login, sharing and posting, plus a separate API for ads. ClonBot connects to TikTok for you, so Claude only needs ClonBot's tools.
Does it work with Cursor, ChatGPT or other clients?
Any client that connects to a remote MCP server over HTTP with an Authorization header works. Claude Code takes one command; elsewhere you add https://clonbot.ai/mcp and your key.

Can Claude post to TikTok for me?
Claude can approve and schedule posts. At its time a post goes out the way the profile is set up: posted for you with a trending sound, sent to your TikTok drafts, or sent to your phone.
Does using it through Claude cost extra?
No. Making a post uses one post from your plan, the same as in the app. Fixing or restoring a slide is free.
